Extremely disappointed in Deutsche Bank. They have recently rolled out a new App. Before, I was able to use NFC payment with my phone without any dependency. Simply select Deutsche Bank as the contactless payment in the Android settings, and done ! The new app requires to install Google Pay and Google Wallet to function, therefore forcing me to handover all my private purchase information to Google!

I have signed a contract with Deutsche Bank, a company based in the EU and subject to GDPR, giving me some sort of guarantee that they will treat all my personal Information with care. I didn't sign such contract with Google, a US base company that is in constant violation of the European laws.

What Deutsche Bank is doing here, is covertly make their customers sign off they private data to one of the most horrible company in the entire world in regards of user privacy.

I don't want Google to profit of my purchasing habits metadata while I pay the service to Deutsche Bank!

I will not enable Google Pay, therefore I am loosing a feature I use to have and enjoy, for no justifiable reason.
