Tomorrow I’ll be attending my first international conference, where I’ll be giving a talk on the embodiment of code. Naturally, as a beginner in live coding, I feel stressed and I definitely have impostor syndrome. But another part of me doesn’t care. What I love about algorave is that it evokes an Art of Failure and Glitch. I’m choosing to believe that being imperfect is beautiful, and that it can help us push back against patriarchy and neoliberalism. ✊

Ugh. Reluctantly returning to have some presence on the #BirdSite :/

I'm still hopeful this and/or other platforms will emerge as equally or better community spaces but as an #EmergingScholar doing #CommunityEngagedScholarship, it's hard to deny that that is still a relevant space to do (and share) my work.
