This video shows off Eloquence working on Emacspeak on Termux on 64-bit Android. This is using the 32-bit ARM Eloquence from the Braille Plus. I read a bit, do some vibe coding on the very speech server I'm using, all inside Emacs, on Termux.

Well y'all Android users, I've failed you. I've failed you all. Spectacularly.
I have selfishly decided to just get my Gmail working with Emacs Gnus using an app specific password instead of working on Fair Mail. I'm not sorry. However, I am sorry that I'm not sorry.
Just did a quick and dirty repo with a few of my Emacspeak utils and fixes. Emacspeak gptel-agent speech-enables gptel-agent. Emacspeak-elfeed are some rather opinionated fixes to emacspeak-elfeed. Repo is at github.com/devinprater/emacspeak-goodies/
Also this is vibecoded. Would you kindly, scroll passed this if you don't like AI.

Sometimes on my phone I just sit there in Emacs and do C-e m, and hear:
Ebooks. Bottom. Dired by name.
Ebooks folder, bottom of buffer is visible on the screen, Dired (file manager) sorted by name.
And just hit that over and over and I'm just like omg it actually freaking works.
New version of the setup script for getting Emacspeak and Elmud working on Termux. Tested in prooot environment so hopefully should work this time.
For anyone using Termux, here's a script for getting Emacs, Emacspeak, and Elmud up and going. Hopefully.

After a good 30 minutes, I've gotten Emacspeak working rather well with mastodon.el. Goodness all those Emoji. For now, n and p read next/prev post well, and t lets you know you're doing new toot. And that's all the making stuff I can do right now.

Okay y'all, first public, alpha, version of Elmud! Basically, the install script should handle everything for you, if you're on Termux for Android, Linux, or Mac. Hopefully. If not, just load-file elmud.el and it'll load emacspeak-elmud.el too. If you need a screen reader, set up and use Emacspeak. For soundpacks, we have one automatically load for Erion MUD and Cosmic Rage. Those are the two I've found easily downloadable. So the client just downloads the sounds for you when you choose those two MUD's. You can also make your own gag or sound triggers. I'll put it up on Github soon but for now:

Okay, Cosmic Rage soundpack seems to work well. Had to fix ambiences not looping. I guess AI can figure out Mudlet packs more easily than MushClient.
I have successfully created a monster. ElMud is an Emacs MUD client, with Emacspeak-specific facilities. Has a list of blind-friendly MUD's because, only blind people play MUDs and use Emacs /s.
I made it in a day and a good 15 minutes with Codex AI. So obviously it's the most slovenly slop ever /s. Now I just need to get it working with the other monstrocity of Termux with DecTalk that's barely hanging on with strands of glue everywhere. Anyway, enjoy!
Why use ElMud?
* Mud in the same place you do your work and check your ToDo tasks.
* Font-lock and Voice-lock makes MUD's look and sound colorful!
* It comes with a list of MUD's already ready to connect, just M-x elmud and you've got a list. And if it doesn't include your favorite just let me know.
* It works like EShell. Your output is above your input line. If you leave point in your output, it does not scroll so you can just keep reading.
* Based on 40 year old technology so it's sure to keep working. I mean the 40 year old tech still works.
* Supports triggers, sound and gag.
* Written entirely in Emacs Lisp, so it's infinitely scriptable!
If anyone finds this useful I'll put it on Github.
