@aiyion ah! vielen Dank, sehr interessant! Scheint tatsächlich so zu sein, dass die #ebtables manpage auch un-escapte hyphens hat. Dann hatte ich's wohl von da kopiert... und im #netfilter #IRC sagten mir noch Leute vorgestern, sie würden es bezweifeln, dass das von einer manpage käme :D.

Lol, I tried using "ebtables ... -‐mark-set 0x42". which failed with: "Unknown argument: '-‐mark-set'". Until someone on #netfilter on #IRC pointed out that I should try #ASCII hyphens instead of #Unicode... so "ebtables ... --mark-set 0x42", which worked fine. On my console font that looks exactly the same... I must have copied the Unicode version from somewhere on the internet.

grrr mit meinen #ebtables regeln war ich heute nicht wirklich erfolgreich ... entweder wird alles oder gar nichts geblockt. zum aus der haut fahren. wahrscheinlich nur wieder "man sieht den wald vor lauter bäumen nicht". also auf nächste woche verschoben das thema. geht jetzt ins wochenende
