I was browsing TrashTaste on #YouTube a long while back, and saw this ear cleaning video.

I just went for it. 9200 yen for ear cleaning and a head/shoulder massage was a bit on the high side  but I got to converse in Japanese instead of just short questions and replies.

I had cat hairs in one ear, and one hair from a haircut in the other. At least my ears are cleaner than Connor's.

Both Tanaka-san and Chiba-san both read manga, but do not consider themselves fans, which is what I expected. Manga is just another medium to a regular Japanese person, and it's not really that common to identify as 'liking manga' even if they do read it.
