Jamuary Day 7, "Counterfeit Reality x07". Was able to finish a little bit earlier today as I didn't have to drive anywhere.

Quite a bit of a change from the previous tracks, this is a minimalist ambient piano track. With a Roland MKS-20 epiano thrown in for good effect. A Celesta is the pad sound (for real).

Rediscovering the tons of mp3 albums I bought when I used to subscribe to EMusic back in the day. I started in 2005, and the files were V2 VBR mp3 (they would fluctuate down to roughly 128 kbps).

It wasn't til about 2009 that they started encoding their music at V0 VBR (fluctuating down to roughly 256 kbps). I think that was when many more mainstream record labels joined (and when they stopped being so generous with how many song download credits they gave subscribers each month).
