Another really busy day today. In the morning some colleagues in another department are hosting a digital preservation community of interest meeting which I’ll be attending along with folks from other institutions islandwide. Fun. Then I have a working lunch, then a meeting, so… today’s #dp3 is just a #dp2:

1. Browse photo collection for photos to use in an event I’m planning.

2. Chip away at appraisals.

Today’s #dp3 is only a #dp2 cos I have a big meeting in the PM which will likely drain all of my energy so even the couple of hours after will probably not be very productive.

1. Submit inputs for a req specs document.

2. Draft appraisal report for an appraisal that was submitted for urgent action and fortunately wasn’t too complex (although I feel like… nvm, I won’t jinx myself).

And okay I said this was a #dp2 but I guess even sapped of all energy I could still,

3. Do some elearning.

Today’s #dp3 is going to be a #dp2 because I want to commit some time to these. Also I’m still waiting for inputs on a finance thing and I receive that, then that has to jump to priority 1.

1. Work planning for myself and new staff. Turn goals into concrete activities/steps and distribute them between ourselves.

2. Prioritise and document some CRs for a system.

Bunch of back to back meetings today, so my #dp3 will be a #dp2.

1. Prepare for presentation I’m giving in the PM which I was asked to do as a favour to a colleague without knowing why. I’m just trusting that at some point during it she’ll interrupt to kick off some kind of discussion.

2. Work on a bunch of appraisals. Unlikely to get them all done today but one or two at least would be a welcome easy win for what has been a harrowing couple of weeks.

Packed scheduled today and not a lot of time to do other work, so today’s #DP3 is going to be a #DP2, with two tasks left over which I didn’t manage to do yesterday:

1. Email agency with further questions re: an appraisal they submitted.

2. Review appraisal report by staff
