Thought I would try an "aerochrome in the round," some infrared image stacking but trying to make a digital aerochrome. It worked quite nicely, though I think my subject should be more symmetrical.

We're half way through the Art Advent Calendar and I thought it might be nice to share one of my favourite images of the year, a digital aerochrome of the Ponte Pedonal de Ligação Baixa de Santo António in Aveiro, which is a wonderful metal structure surrounded by trees that I knew would look spectacular as a digital aerochrome. #ArtAdventChallenge, #Infrared, #DigitalAerochrome,

I am experimenting with editing some of my digital images to emulate the look of Kodak Aerochrome, or Ektachrome EIR false-color infrared film. These long discontinued film stocks are almost impossible to find these days, and they are incredibly expensive if they do turn up. Digital editing seems to be the most affordable way I can create Aerochrome type images like this one.

I am experimenting with editing some of my digital images in an attempt to emulate the look of false-color infrared slide film. Kodak Aerochrome, and Ektachrome Infrared EIR films produced surreal landscape images with foliage appearing pink, or red, instead of the normal green color one would expect. The infrared film stocks were discontinued about 15 years ago, and they are almost impossible to find these days.
