DLSS5 has just access to 2D images and motion vectors. It's just a supercharged Snapchat filter which requires 2 GTX 5090, one for the rendering of the game, the second to apply that awful filter.

The current #DLSS 5 / #Nvidia drama, especially the #DigitalFoundry title calling the results "realistic" looking is honestly disgusting.
We've got "they're just changing how the light looks" comments while lips magically increase heavily in size (see attached image) and faces being lit like in a studio with a single direct light source from behind the person.
The worst part about all of this? You can literally use Gemini with basic-ass prompts and get better looking results.
