Yes, I got the garbage #dicefm app downloaded, sideloaded, and sandboxed. Yes, I could authenticate and see my purchases.Yes, I contacted the devs. Yes, I contacted the festival organizers.

I'm not a typical user (and if you're reading this, you're probably not either) so I can deal with it. It chaps me when something that should be simple-- buy a ticket, get a ticket-- turns into an ordeal. Regular users should never experience this (and neither should I).

One of my favorite charity festivals switched to the absolutely trash #dicefm. I expected I could use the website but after purchase it all redirects to the app and it's vague as to why it's not installable as it only requires Android 5.0+. All I want are the tickets I paid for, not crap and extra hassle from your vendor.

For the curious, the #dicefm app contains the following trackers:
- Google Play Install Referrer
- Google Admob
- Google Firebase
- Google Crashlytics
- Kissmetrics
- Branch

So many events now are being sold exclusively through dice.fm, which forces you to download their poorly coded app onto your phone, forces you to bring your phone to the event, requires that you have enough battery power to be able to show the ticket on your phone. There is _no_ option to print a paper backup ticket, or for will-call entry with your id.

My solution? I just don't go to events sold by dice.fm any more. #dicefm #makingtheworldworse
