#DHmakes <3 mechanical tech for 🏳️‍🌈! Gear's track reduces horizontal printing press roller motion=ink mixes less across rollers=more stripes (I own one of the @threecheerspress.bsky.social tight worm gears even though I don't own a press, because🤞some future year's Pride?? & rainbow rolls ftw🌈🍞🎨)

There's a certain pleasure in having a student who's as weird and feral with craft as you are, and is immediately all in when you both, struggling with "normal" loom dressing, wonder if you could just treat the floor loom like a giant rigid heddle loom and warp from a peg. 🤔 #DHmakes

Here's some print masking that *did* work! Lasercut chipboard stencils=too thick, so handcut wonkier masks to place pride flag stripe colors into typecase cells for this print 🏳️‍🌈 Silver, blue, brown so far. #DHmakes
