Tenebris NoxStarted watching the 1960s tv series, Danger Man, starring Patrick McGoohan. It's brilliant! I love how taut and feebrile it is. No back story, no character development - just this secret agent, John Drake, who deals with situations purposefully (and without guns or romantic involvement). First episode was obviously filmed in Portmeirion doubling as an Italian village.

Calico JesseI found that #DangerMan / #SecretAgentMan is on Prime (as is #ThePrisoner and #TheSaint ). I love the Prisoner, but I’d never seen #PatrickMcGoohan in Danger Man before.
It’s a very fast paced show. At ~23 minutes, they cram in a plot that really deserves a 50 minute episode (like the Saint), so there’s no wasted moments. Even the dialog is rapid fire.
I appreciate McGoohan’s skill at taking on different personas and accents.
I can see why they wanted him for #JamesBond .
