#dailyWords +3703 = 3703 / 24000.

Well, I decided to throw out my previous howevermany words and start again (this is my small is beautiful second try) to reach 24k words. I feel like 3600 words is about my daily practical limit of useful words, and I guess leaves a reasonable amount of time to do-something-else. I wrote a hypothetical table of contents and used org mode to hierarchically organize so I can swap paragraphs, "pages", sections and things. I wrote a lot about time travel very srsly

+1554 for (4637 / 24000) on my way to my chosen draft-check-in-point. I guess the show took over Wednesday, and on Monday I had that priceless discussion with Kent about https://lispy-gopher-show.itch.io/nicclim and what some of the CLIM things I was saying *implied* it did / I did with it. And I had a bad mood which ate a day. Of the two days this week I wrote per se, I guess one was about 3000 words and the other was about 1500. I am uncountedly filling notebooks, but just of thoughts.

#dailyWords [ 2822 / 24000 ] #writing yesterday I clearly wrote 2822 words (95%+ prose) of my #commonLisp #DL book draft In June. I reached a minor decision point and eventually lost consciousness in its pickling brine.

I decided to peg my check-in-on-how-the-book-is-going at 24000 words. At my current instantaneous velocity, this will take about 10 days. Somewhat to my surprise, the book is extremely, extremely picture heavy, almost coffee-table heavy.

#dailyWords According to the half-written article I have open, 381 words, but the article emblematizes the technological boilerplate of my #book I am first-drafting-in-June. The technological basis of my book not quite existing in the way I needed yet was, well, what if my book concept had had a paradox in it.

Which is to say https://lispy-gopher-show.itch.io/nicclim "editor program" and https://lispy-gopher-show.itch.io/dl-roc-lisp my #deepLearning formulation/implementation work as intended and the rest as they say is a first draft

@brologue I keep the stock phrase ("1002 words (52553 total) on “The Post-American Internet,” a sequel to "Enshittification," about the better world the rest of us get to have now that Trump has torched America #DailyWords") at the bottom of the file and update the numbers, copy them to my clipboard and paste them into my socials when I'm done writing for the day.
