So I thought the #Cuptimo was a bit of a joke, really. I mean a blood pressure style pump, attached to a pourover #coffee maker?
While it is a bit "hacky", it actually works really, really well. One of the things I dislike about #nobypass coffee brewing is the dwell / draw time. Some devices take up to 10 minutes.
This creates a vacuum in the vessel below, when you choose to create that vacuum. Said vacuum completes the brew quickly.
They're onto something here.

I think I'm past 50 brews now with the #Cuptimo.
I still feel ridiculous squeezing that valve plunger. But it does deliver a delicious cup of coffee, with the benefits that you can get from no-bypass, without the wait time.
Cleanup's a chore tho.
Most of the time I post photos / video on #coffee and #espresso gear, it is usually when I know enough about the products to answer questions knowledgeably about them.
Like the #Cuptimo post today (I've used it for a month now), or the #Melitta Senz V post (used that for over 2 months now).
Sometimes I do post on products just arrived, like the #Bambino Espresso Machine vid yesterday. When I do, I try to be clear it's new, no experience with it yet.
In case you're wondering how the Cuptimo works, it creates a vacuum in the carafe or brewing vessel, to draw the no-bypass brewed coffee down faster. There's not many videos out there on the brewer, but here's one from the maker, in German.

It creates a seal between brewer and carafe. The vacuum is formed in the carafe. Drawing down the liquid.
