The new National Cultural Policy consultation paper only alluded to artificial intelligence (AI) even though it is one of the defining cultural, economic and ethical issues facing artists and audiences. AI is a set of interrelated wicked problems which makes responding to its harms and risks complex and guilt free harnessing of its benefits and potential difficult.
