The EAW-127 Telemachos Laser assault rifle is the defensive mainstay of the Empyraen Army Hoplites and Epibatoi both. Continuous beam or 'full/semi auto' bolt modes are available. It can clear a wide area and, if the powercell runs out, there is still the underslung grenade launcher and combat knife clamps to keep it dangerous.
