#Collocations are a truly difficult aspect of any language, due to their specificity and variety, among other characteristics.

#Spanishlanguage has tons of these word combinations, and you can see a very few of them in the chart below, which include verbs used in a higher speech register, although some of these idioms are also common in the spoken language (e.g. "cometer un error" or "surtir efecto").
