- served ~6k QPS as reverse proxy hop from edge nginx LB (inbound http1.1)
- backends serving on http2 (in #k8s ) for envoy and http1.1 for nginx (as ngx does not support upstream)
- 5m loadavg for nginx reached 16 while envoy kept running under 2 (shocking)
- Request type: bidding calls (latency centric)
- almost inline latency
- nginx served ~99% request while envoy served ~96% (could be tuned) #help
