Not every opinion is equal in the church. Advocating for the invasion of any nation, including an allied nation is not an acceptable opinion. If you believe what Trump is threatening to Greenland is right, your place in the Christian Church, the Lutheran Church, is the confessional booth. You are captive to sin.

My son helped me with "chalking the door" this year, a tradition on the Epiphany of Our Lord.

From medieval times, Christians all around the world on the Epiphany bless their homes by writing "CMB" and the year on their doors in chalk. The letters can stand for the traditional names of the magi who visited the boy Jesus in Bethlehem: Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar. They can also stand for "Christus mansionem benedicat" ("Christ bless this house").
