So one of the top streamers in Brazilian twitch, #cellbit, did a really cool thing (that I low-key suspect lost him a lot of money, but even knowing that he did it anyway): commissioned an escape room designed to be streamed, where he would marathon Silent Hill 1 through 4, and lore pieces and documents found in game were keys or key pieces to the escape room!
It was designed as one of those stream marathons where the streamer is live for multiple days, even sleeping live, and the only moments they were off camera were when they went to the bathroom.
The scenario was a room where the streamer was "trapped" (obviously the bathroom had access in case of emergencies, and for the streamer to receive food) with a bed in the middle of the room, and his streaming setup, PC and stuff in the corner. By the bed there was a CRT TV that played an arg-like puzzle for the viewers every night he went to sleep, and in the end solutions to those community solved puzzles were pieced together by the streamer for the final puzzle solution.
It was very cool, but I don't usually watch streamers so I didn't watch all of it. It made me interested in Silent Hill though, and I've been playing the remake of the second game for a while, which I may share thoughts on a later date.
There's no specific point to this post that I want to communicate. It was just cool and I now you know about it.
