My dad, brother, and I saw #BrooksRobinson play in the late '50s at #Vancouver's Capilano Stadium. I don't remember it, but my dad often reminded me. I think it was there that he perfected his "Brooks Robinson throw", an underhand flip to first base now very common in #MLB.

@davidgiard unfortunately, my most common memory of Robinson, was, as a huge Greg Nettles fan, having everyone remind me of how Nettles was only the second best 3B in baseball. It was true, but I didn't need to hear it all the time. #mlb #brooksrobinson
