@arstechnica I went though 5 confirmations and one retry after a dark UI pattern tricked me into thinking I'd finished trying to cancel my IONOS contract after moving all my domains off. Only to find that they will automatically restart my subscription in 14 days unless I talk to someone in person to confirm. I've been waiting 5 hours for my callback so far. Cannot delete my account OR my credit card number.

Went to AmEx and put a merchant block on IONOS. #boutdamntime
