Kit is pretty well rounded now. organized. A few of my microfiber cloths are missing, but they’re just in the laundry.

I could theoretically work a (slow) stand now without having to borrow things from other bootblacks or ask 12,000 questions. Still working on my reference notebook because I constantly forget shit. I still need a few odds and ends but I’m not in a hurry to get them.

Fetish Unlimited was a very unique experience. But when i was asked to bootblack in that wonderful Victorian library of the UK Leather Archives how could I say no‽

Being able to chat with a group of women in their 60’s who had come to see everything was so much fun.

I got to do several people’s first time sitting for a bootblacking,I had a gentleman sit for me who’s boots were already so well cared for and high-shined I wasn’t sure if I could do much to improve them.

I also got to do some cleaning and conditioning of a boy’s filthy gear lol

The energy for the event was wonderful. It was also really nice to see a much wider mix of people outside my normal circles.

I was lucky enough to get several amazing Shots by the Fetish Unlimited event photographer @Ho.ofy while bootblacking there.

I love these shots. They capture me working in a way I’ve not really seen a photographer do before.

Hunter October 2025 | Bootblack’s Eye View

There was something in the air for Hunter this month. Everyone seem that bit extra horny and that little bit free-er. Everyone Seemed to be able to more easily flirt and sparks were frequently flying.

It was thoroughly enjoyable. In the stand i got to do a few first-trimmers, as well as my beloved regulars whom I now look forward to catching up with each other on the past month.

I was particularly happy I got to work on a rubberman’s boots. First time working with rubber boots and I finally got to use the “unicorn cum” soap made by @SpankCake IMsBB2024 for rubber and vinyl gear. Its been sitting in my kit box for a year since the last European Take a stand. and as you can see from the photos it also lives up to its name.
