I've only been using Linux for 4 years now, but I can't conceive of working on any other Operating System now! Linux is just that good. While there are definitely some pain points in getting acquainted with the OS for the newcomer, the multitude of benefits to working with Linux are, imho, very worth it! Which OS are you using? Have you yet heard the good word of Linus Torvaulds?
