RIP Bob from #SesameStreet.

Through the 2000s, some friends and I ran an article series in which we picked one of life's Big Questions, then emailed it to every celebrity address we could find.

#BobMcGrath gave the sweetest reply imaginable to "why does the sun shine?"

"Sesame Street"’s Bob McGrath has died. The sad news was shared on the performer’s Facebook page, which noted, “He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.” McGrath was one of "Sesame Street"’s founding cast members: a genial neighbor whose kind manner made him a living room friend to generations of children. McGrath retired from "Sesame Street" in 2017 – but left a lasting mark on generations of #SesameStreet viewers. He was 90 years old.
