Trip to Bloomington/Normal with my friend went well today!  The drive was pleasant. 🍁🍂🌾 I'm hoping the pretty fall weather will hold out for another week so my wife can enjoy it once she arrives to the US. 🇺🇸🦅

Stopped at The Coffeehouse ☕️ and had the best pumpkin chai latte of my life. They had a lot more vegan food options than when I went last year, which was super cool; I chose some banana bread.

Walked around for awhile checking out record stores and some bits-and-bobs shops, then headed back home. I picked up a Spiderland CD. I lost my old copy in a car accident last year when I lost all my fave CD albums. 💿

Don't have much cash right now but I'm definitely gonna go back for an afternoon date with my wife and budget accordingly. I died when I saw a proper made in the UK yellow teapot, among other knick knacks.

Not sure how many locals are on Mastodon so I guess I'll just throw out some tags to check.
