I can't believe JAST is localizing Masquerade ~Jigoku Gakuen SO/DO/MU~ holy shit
I played it with a text hooker ages ago, it kind of reminds me of Hadaka Shitsuji in how it keeps escalating ridiculously & the payoff really isn't worth it lol
I'm far more excited about Paradise, but the fact that they've licensed two PIL/SLASH games is a GREAT sign for future licenses, esp. Shingakkou which is the one everyone really wants
On the technical side, minor engine issue with text display (punctuation gets pushed to the next line) and you can't select text & voice language independently (only English or Japanese with Japanese voice or Chinese with Chinese voice).
Anyway, not something to rush out & play, but I'm not mad at paying $7 for it and it's currently on sale for $5, so.
BL elements were what old fans would call pre-slash lol, one main love interest (sexual harassment boss) & a rival figure (ex-partner) with some flirting & of course the eye licking (it has a plot explanation but it's ridiculous) that doesn't actually go anywhere conclusive, but I figured that might be the case from how it was advertised. Finished this. Kinda meh. "Seven different endings" is kinda misleading; it's a linear plot with a few choices that either continue the story or lead to an abrupt dead end. Episodic mystery story that I think struggled to come together thematically, and the shades of copaganda were annoying. (cont'd)

#HiyokuNoTori came out in February, how did it fly entirely under the radar? The Steam page doesn't even mention it's BL, I had to find that out from VNDB. Maybe the company was more focused on marketing to a Chinese audience? (It even has dual Japanese & Chinese voice tracks) But it does have an English translation.
Finally getting around to playing #ThePatientSRemedy and just having trouble getting into it. The sex scenes have the protagonist cumming like immediately with not enough buildup to feel climactic, which akes the game feel weirdly cockblocky despite being *full* of sex scenes.
I'm not a #HadakaShitsuji fan but it stuck with me just because it's balls out crazy OTT. Patient S feels, idk, timid? Just first impressions though since I've only seen a few endings.
