Adding rattles to flies can be a pain, especially on smaller stuff. Over time I've come to prefer shrink tube because it allows you to adjust the position to suit the pattern, offers some protection to the rattle, adds little weight but more importantly it's secure. As a bonus it comes in a variety of colours so you can incorporate it as a hot spot if you wish.
