BrianI purchased a 1924 Bausch & Lomb Balopticon (https://archive.org/details/balopticonsacces00baus/mode/2up) today. It's in pretty rough condition (missing some parts, the bottom of it is rusted almost all the way through, etc.), but I mostly just wanted the lenses. I managed to get the larger of the two off without any trouble and it is a *chonk*. 4x5 cameras for scale. It weighs just over 12lbs. π
Not sure what to do with it yet. Any thoughts?
