#endlessscroll, inspired by my husky favourites
when will we have devs realise the importance of #backupneedsrestore #statefullbrowsing?
when scrolling through anything, i might want to continue from where i stopped, not from the beginning, especially when scrolling feels endless!
the analogy with backup came up because too many backup tools don't seem to care they become useless without this restoration capabilities and that makes a huge difference on developing such tools making them exponentially more complex, but, in short: make it automated, both the backup and the verification of restoring it or else much data will get lost to the point of making the whole backup useless in practice.
the whole conundrum of computers, really: do they automate life to make it easier or just add complexity and stress?
