What will be the outcome of the parliamentary inquiry committee?
For years, those affected and anti-fascist initiatives have been campaigning for a parliamentary inquiry committee (PUA) on the so-called Neukölln Complex. This involves the most serious neo-Nazi crimes, threats and attacks, including 23 serious, sometimes life-threatening arson attacks against people who are committed to fighting racism and fascism. The series culminated in the murders of Burak Bektaş and Luke Holland.
Despite references to known neo-Nazis, the series has largely remained unsolved. Instead, police and public prosecutors attracted attention for racist acts or statements, passed on data to neo-Nazis or withheld information about acute right-wing threats.

Was kommt raus beim parlamentarischen Untersuchungsausschuss?
Jahrelang bemühten sich Betroffene und antifaschistische Initiativen um einen Parlamentarischen Untersuchungsausschuss (PUA) zum sogenannten Neukölln-Komplex. Dabei geht es um schwerste neonazistische Straftaten, Bedrohungen und Angriffe bis hin zu 23 schweren, zum Teil lebensgefährdenden Brandanschlägen gegen Menschen, die sich gegen Rassismus und Faschismus engagieren. Die Serie gipfelte in den Morden an Burak Bektaş und Luke Holland.
Trotz Hinweisen auf bekannte Neonazis wurde die Serie weitestgehend nicht aufgeklärt. Vielmehr fielen Beamt*innen von Polizei und Staatsanwaltschaft durch rassistische Taten oder Aussagen auf, gaben Daten an Neonazis weiter oder hielten Informationen über akute rechte Bedrohungen zurück.
Es waren Betroffene der Anschläge und Engagierte, die die Aufarbeitung maßgeblich vorantrieben.
Erst nach jahrelangem, öffentlichen Druck wurde im Mai 2022 der PUA eingesetzt.

In 1979, James Baldwin wrote a letter to his literary agent describing his next project, "Remember This House."
The book was to be a revolutionary, personal account of the lives and assassinations of three of his close friends: Medgar Evers, Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr.
At the time of Baldwin's death in 1987, he left behind only 30 completed pages of this manuscript. Filmmaker Raoul Peck envisions the book James Baldwin never finished.
