You can book the house for a short break from the Landmark Trust and it sleeps eight. If you fill the spaces it's relatively affordable for a big, well-equipped and fascinatingly beautiful house.

2/5 Pugin's The Grange. Here are two shots that are mainly about the windows in The Grange. The first shot is in the entrance and the second comes from Pugin's private chapel. (Next door is the church he designed for the site.)

1/5 Pugin's The Grange This week I'm featuring a set of (mainly) interiors from a short stay at The Grange in Ramsgate back in the autumn. It's looked after by the Landmark Trust

The Grange was the home designed by Augustus Pugin best known as the designer of the interior of the Palace of Westminster (the UK's parliament).

This is the library - my favourite in this set.
