I am absolutely sick of the #amurican advertising culture. I keep seeing ads for Temu. I had a really bad fucking experience with them. Waited 3 weeks for a razor that broke before the first use. I keep telling Google not to show me Temu ads but they do.
@dirtyoldtown That sums up my experience with the #amurican healthcare system as well. Socialized medicine can only be an improvement!

@David_Leavitt I think there needs to be some movement in this direction. The #Amurican gun culture has gotten completely out of hand and this understating the problem.
@purplepadma Amurica has always been about "lock'em up and throw away the key." Now even more so because an entire profit model has grown up around incarceration and people in the criminal justice system. Profiting from other's misery seems to be something uniquely #Amurican.
Corporations are directly responsible for the present conditions of wealth disparity and other maladies in #Amurican society. Looking to the very entities that broke the system to then fix it, is at best, not a bright idea. At worst, it feeds their insatiable appetite for money.
