Due to our beekeeper being rehoused as a result of #EastendHomes disastrous #AirspaceDevelopment on the #EricEstate (aka #MileEndEstate), there will be no beekeeping until at least Spring 2025.

To date we've been lucky compared to some other residents.

#AirSpaceDevelopment, as adding additional floors to existing buildings is called, has a terrible track record for problems but planning authorities continue to approve it.

Luckily we won't be here much longer.

Dry today thankfully, so not currently raining in our flat.
Water falling in the riser in the wall of our main bedroom yesterday, from pooled water on the roof as a result of building works to add an extra floor.
Strong smell of damp & condensation on windows.

Do planning authorities who approve such schemes ever visit to see impact on residents?

Thanks to the joys of #AirSpaceDevelopment it is raining in the services riser in our flat.
Can't say I wasn't much interested in the #landlord bemoaning the bad weather, problem of water pooling on the roof etc.
No such problems in decade we've lived here prior to his development.
