Played a game of Legion Imperialis. We did several things wrong, but had a lot of fun. It was a tight battle, but the mechanicum edged out a victory against my imperial guard.

Now to decide how to expand to a 1500 point list.

This project came together nicely. My first 1k Legion Imperialis army is painted. Now I need to paint up my opposing 1k of Solar Auxilia and I can use them to teach my friends how to play.

Der Winter war lang... und nicht gänzlich unproduktiv. Meine MechanicumBattlegroup ist fertig, ergänzt um einen Techmarine aus dem 3D-Drucker (ok. 10k Jahre zu früh) und einen Reaktor.

Ist nicht unbedingt gut geworden, hat aber reichlich Spaß gemacht!
Wichtig: Dazu etwas Ruhe, ein Glas Wein und ein guter w40k-Podcast.

Das nächste Projekt geht Richtung Thousand Sons. Ich brauche Gelände!

Really wanted to get some painting in this weekend but didn’t quite get there. Did manage to get a bunch of stuff based / primed though:

- My kid’s Raven Guard AoD #KillTeam — he’s been carefully kitbashing these which has been delightful to see. When he had the idea he asked me if we could look for some printable bird skull helmets and it turned out that was very doable!
- A proxied Hunter Clade kt I’ve been building — still waiting on the awkward oval base for one of the gunners though. Really happy with the customised ruststalkers / infiltrators!
- The extra models I’ve built for my beaky AoD kill team — these had been sat waiting to be based / primed for a while…

Played a half game of 40K. Technically we were up on points, but I felt like we were behind in positioning. But it was fun.

I foolishly charged the wraith knight and only did five wounds. But I tied him up for two rounds.

Most annoying is that the viper special distracts any unit hit, even a super heavy baneblade.

It was fun, good to play again.
