Cyclone Scale update to include 10 min winds & 3 second gusts. It's messy, we've applied a rough gust factor to allow use of the tornado EF Scale to classify mesocyclones. Nonetheless, the scale, subject to adjustment, is now unified across all cyclones. #YouStormScale

This NW Pacific storm is transitioned Typhoon #Surigae, it seems to have been hurricane force this morning, for the new test scale it is then a γ-class extratropical cyclone.#γclassY #YouStormScale
