Chinese human rights lawyer #YuWensheng has been sentenced to 3 years imprisonment and his wife #XuYan was sentenced to 1 years and 9 months imprisonment. They were taken away by the Beijing police when they were on their way to meet #JosepBorrellFontelles, EU's High Representatives for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and German Foreign Minister #AnnalenaBaerbock in April 2023

This happened while Annalena Baerbock in Beijing. Can Germany and the world speak up against such human rights violations? Detaining people with offences like "picking quarrels and provoking trouble" simply because of exercising their freedom of expression is simply unacceptable.
