I wasn't too far off from my expectations, just got the mail from Apex, planning to return to the first draft (which was closer to 1500 words, before I brought it down to 1000 for Apex) and send it out to one of the magazines I have been considering for it #2026WritingJourney #WriteEditSubmitReject
