The association that I make with this word is not even covered in the Wikipedia entry.
Suffice it to say, that there once was a toy company that took its name from Marconi and Lindbergh, heroes of the day. The street that I live on was once an airport runway that Lindbergh landed and took off from. Our street signs have little pictures of the Spirit of St. Louis on them. Even our neighborhood McDonald's has a photo mural of "Lucky Lindy"
