London's Lambeth Council has decided to make permanent the traffic filter on Windmill Drive in the middle of Clapham Common.

(The drive was filtered during the covid pandemic, and filtering was a pre-pandemic transport priority to stop motorised "rat-running" across the common).

The current temporary scheme will be replaced with new surfaces and sustainable drainage planting.
