Kerri LevineNot with my experience. I was fairly liberal until the second plane hit the second tower on 9/11, then I veered wildly to the right, where I stayed for the next decade.
Over time, I moved away from Fox "News" and far right conservatism as I've learned more. I'm now more liberal and "woke" than I was before 9/11.
So in my case it is true.
And I can admit when I get it wrong. Don't like it but I do it.
