Here’s my two penn'orth on this news:

Firstly, the show was cancelled before and returned. This isn’t the end: it’s just awaiting someone to begin the regeneration process and make a new beginning.
Secondly, if you’re a younger Whovian that’s getting down that there will be no more new episodes to watch, now’s your chance to go back and watch all the original shows from the classic era that I grew up with, just bear in mind that the special effects won’t be very special!
Thirdly, if you’re an older Whovian that’s already seen the classic era episodes, now’s the time to get into the Big Finish audio productions.
Finally, if you’re not a fan - or were a Whovian but gave up on the show when it went all “woke” - and are now happy and cheering that the show got what it deserved: you never understood the show in the first place! (If anyone ever asks me when Doctor Who got all woke, the correct answer is November 23rd, 1963!)

Doctor Who: BBC cancels planned Christmas special

The BBC said the decision was made "after careful consideration" and had "not been taken lightly".

Can I just say that although I have been critical of the tears, I thought that Ncuti Gatwa was really good in the role as The Doctor. I am sad to see him leave the role after only two series, but it was nice to see Jodie Whittaker back in the TARDIS for a brief moment. I am looking forward to the next series and excited for how the show will pan out. #DoctorWho #Whovian #WhovianForLife #TARDIS
