What on the earth? I've literally never experienced that before. My #WestminsterChimes app just played the Westminster and the hourly chime at the same time. This really is going to be a strange technological day.

Squee, squee, squee! I got my #WestminsterChimes working on iOS 18. Oh this brings me more joy than it ought. As to how I did it, it was quite the production. It involved setting its notifications to have all on, launching the app, geting its prompt about what it wanted exactly, setting those parameters, and then turning sounds off and then back on again. As to which thing set it right I don't know but I am ever so glad of heart. #TheLittleThingsAreTheBigThings. And I wish it wasn't so much of an annoyance to get it going but I did.

Alright time for my annual email to Mr. Luthersoft developer of #WestminsterChimes because I can't get it to revive on my new iPhone no matter what I do or do not do.

In other news I can't get #WestminsterChimes to chime on my #iPhone16ProMax for some reason. No matter how I set it there is no chimey goodness for me.

Well that's that I made the jump to #iOS17. Now let's see if #WestminsterChimes sounds for me or just my friends only.

Uh oh looks like it's time for me to file a trouble report with the dev for the #WestminsterChimes #iOSApp to make him aware of trouble. On #iOS16.5.1A and #iOS17 the chimes are often only partially sounding.
