@alexproe Most people here in my corner of Spain (#Murcia) install an under-sink filter / ion exchange / #osmosis thingumy which costs around €150 installed. Not a cost saving, per se, but much less plastic waste (although some small water waste) and no more lugging bottled water from the supermarket which is a total PITA.

I'm #offgrid for water and have #solarpanels so I'm seriously considering a #waterdistiller to make #drinkingwater.
