The #Cudy #WR3000 v2, which has no #OpenWrt or #Freifunk support and is therefore of no use for me, is now on its way back to #Amazon. Thanks to German 14 days return laws on internet sales this is free of charge.
Ok, the #Cudy #WR3000 **v2** has completely different chips. It's #TRIDUCTOR TR5220GCF for the WLAN and #TRIductor TR6560PRCB for a dual-core ARM Cortec A9 with Gigabit Ethernet PHYs. Similar to the BPI-Wifi6 Mini for instance. Not #Mediatek though, so probably useless for #OpenWrt and #Freifunk...
Hrm, same old thing... wanted to try a #Cudy #WR3000 before recommending it to others for #Freifunk. It's currently the cheapest #WiFi6 capable device with a #Mediatek chip for #Freifunk, available for 30€. And what I got is a v2 - which isn't supported by #OpenWrt yet...
