One of the biggest limitations for NWA Exodus Pro right now is the venue.

Low ceilings.
White walls you can’t black out.
A disco ball literally hanging over the ring.

We talked about how just a slightly larger space — higher ceilings, wider walls — would dramatically improve lighting, atmosphere, and overall presentation.

Venues really can make or break wrestling shows.

One of the biggest impressions from NWA Exodus Pro was how intentional everything felt.

Promos had purpose.
Comedy was part of the story.
Nothing felt like it existed just to fill time.

It was unmistakably an EC3-style vision — and EC3 wasn’t even on the show. Running a full room without needing the “big star” to appear says a lot about the creative.

If you want instant chaos at a bar, just put WWE Originals on the jukebox.

This clip spirals beautifully — Limp Bizkit takes, spoken-word wrestling tracks, Kurt Angle’s legendary singing voice, chat room chaos, and a reminder that Claudio Castagnoli is currently the CMLL Champion.

This is why the show works.

Intern Mac interviews Intern Tony about working production at NWA Exodus Pro, and it perfectly captures that feeling of being completely out of place.

Setting up with just a few people…
Suddenly everyone appears out of nowhere…
Then you’re sitting in a production meeting led by Beastman, surrounded by wrestlers twice your size, wondering if you spawned there by accident.

Tony’s “What We Learned” this week:
The SlimeBallz’ entrance is something you have to see to believe.

Sliding across the ropes.
Ridiculous fun.
An instant “best gimmick” reaction live in the building.

Even when the crew briefly forgot there was another match, the show stayed smooth and delivered.

This clip is indie wrestling comfort food. 🍕

We’re talking favorite matches of the night, and Brandon Barretta’s Strictly Business Business Plan keeps stealing the conversation.

A whiteboard laying out his “road to the top.”
Every waist-lock takedown adds a new wrestler.
It becomes chaotic, convoluted, and somehow… perfectly logical.

Once it clicks, you realize how smart the match actually is.

Brandon Barretta’s Strictly Business Business Plan might be one of the smartest indie wrestling gimmicks we’ve seen.

Every waist-lock takedown adds a new wrestler.
Eventually it becomes a full multi-man match — but only Barretta can win or lose.

The best part?
He literally explains all the dumb indie wrestling tropes that are about to happen… and then they ALL do. 😂

Ricochet’s first defense of the AEW National Championship feels like the beginning of something bigger.

The way it’s being discussed, it doesn’t seem limited to just AEW — cross-promotion feels inevitable.
We also talk about the value of Ring of Honor right now, especially if you’re curious about classic title eras like Samoa Joe’s.

Plus, a quick refresher on NXT’s Iron Survivor match and why it works so well.

One of the clearest “What We Learned” moments this week:
Kendal Gray in NXT is incredible.

Iron Survivor winner.
EVOLVE Champion.
Standing out immediately once you focus on her work.

The Kurt Angle comparisons sound ridiculous — until you watch her wrestle. WWE doesn’t give someone this spotlight by accident.

One of the most interesting parts of John Cena’s farewell isn’t the matches — it’s his mindset.

From his recent interview, he comes across as fully centered and unbothered by “what ifs.”
He did the work. He lived it. He’s at peace with it.

“If we stopped listening to the bad voices in our head… maybe we could be more like John Cena.”
