Keebin’ With Kristina: The One With The Height-Adjustable Key Caps

Now, we can’t call these LEGO key caps for obvious reasons, but also because they don’t actually work with standard LEGO. But that’s just fine and dandy, because they’re hei…

@CiaraNi I thought the Waverley, based in Glasgow, was the last sea-going paddle steamer in the world. Unless the Baltic doesn’t count?

There was much talk of expanding the mezzanine overpass inside Waverley station, but it is far more logical to use the original entrances on Waverley Bridge down to the main concourse level. From there there are only five platforms that require a change of level- 1,8,9,10 & 20.
The remaining 15 platforms are all directly accessible from that level.

Far simpler than trying to build a complete new mezzanine floor with lifts and escalators to ALL the platforms. #Scotrail #waverley #networkrail

We picked up a jigsaw when we sailed on Waverley recently as the money raised from sales helps with the upkeep of the vessel and we like jigsaws. It wasn't a very good quality puzzle, sadly, but it was fiendishly difficult as a lot of pieces were cut nearly identically with almost identical colouring. We rebuilt the edges and lots of sky and water several times in various fitting combinations before finishing.

Short bit of video from aboard Paddle Steamer Waverley yesterday on our little jaunt around the Isle of Wight with some views of the pistons and paddle wheels plus views of the island from the main deck.

A longer day than expected on Waverley today but thoroughly enjoyable. This is off the south coast of the Isle of Wight earlier. We were due back in Portsmouth at 19:00 and we arrived only to find a cruise ship was late leaving from our berth. The knock-on effect of that along with the logistics of ferrying to and from Waverley and Gunwharf meant we were nearly two hours late getting off. A bit tiring, but still wonderful.

Just passed Bembridge on the Isle of Wight aboard the paddle steamer Waverley and it is fabulously rocky on the ship. The wind and waves are knocking the ship up, down, left, right, and it's seriously so much fun. Watching everyone trying to walk at about ten degrees with pints in hand, everyone laughing.
