It's time to open up. Let's have a look between the labia at the vulval vestibule...

As with all of our #VulvaDiversity threads, this thread contains real photos of human vulvas. They'll be posted unlisted with a content wrapper, but if you have CWs switched off, you might want to put them back on. We will also block anyone who makes creepy sexualised remarks, or vulva-shaming comments.

It's time for this month's #VulvaDiversity thread. This month, we're taking a look at the labia majora (outer lips) and the mons.

As always, this thread will contain photos of human vulvas. They'll be behind a content wrapper, but if you have those switched off, you might want to put them back on. Also, you get blocked for vulva-shaming or sexualised remarks in the replies, so keep your opinions to yourself.

It's time for another #VulvaDiversity thread! This month, we're taking a peek around the back at the back of the vulva and the perineum.

As always, you'll be blocked for vulva-shaming or sexualised comments, so don't do that. Also, if you have content warnings turned off and you don't want to see photos of vulvas in your feed, it's time to switch them on!

It's time for this month's #VulvaDiversity thread. This month we'll be looking at the different skin textures of the vulva, and how even in the same person, you can see lots of different textures!

We'll be posting, as always, with content warnings. If you don't have content warnings enabled and don't want to see photos of vulvas in your feed, maybe switch them on now? Also, no vulva-shaming or sexualised replies, or we'll block you.

Normally we do a monthly #VulvaDiversity thread, but this month we're going to do something a bit different because it's #CervicalScreeningAwarenessWeek: we're going to look at cervixes, and how they change throughout the cycle and after some life events...

It's time for our monthly #VulvaDiversity thread! This month we'll be talking about COLOURS!

As always, do not engage in any vulva-shaming or sexualised remarks in the replies, or we'll block you. Also, this thread includes photos of human vulvas. If you've disabled content wrappers, you might want to switch them back on.

This month, our #VulvaDiversity topic is a peek under the hood. Or more accurately, a peek *at* the hood. We're looking at all the various shapes and sizes that clitoral hoods come in!

As always, you'll get blocked for making sexualised remarks or vulva-shaming comments, so don't do that. Also, this thread will include photos of real human vulvas so if you don't have content filters switched on, don't complain when you see vulvas on your screen!

We do monthly #VulvaDiversity threads, looking at topics and how we're all a little different downstairs.

January's thread looked at symmetry: https://masto.ai/@vagina_museum/109642469501905470

In February, we parted the bush on pubic hair: https://masto.ai/@vagina_museum/109801059960387014

And this month, we talked about protrusion: https://masto.ai/@vagina_museum/110016582408192981

This year, we're going to do a monthly #VulvaDiversity mini-thread, showing you all sorts of varieties of vulvas! Before we start, a couple of rules: 1. No shaming comments. 2. No creepy sexual comments about how much you like the vulvas or what you'd like to do to them. We'll block you if you do any of this. This month's vulva diversity topic is SYMMETRY AND ASYMMETRY.

Over on Twitter, when we posted yesterday's #VulvaDiversity thread, we applied a content screen, like we do here. Twitter editorialised, saying the content is hidden because it is "adult content" and "may not be appropriate for everyone". To view the educational photos, it requires users to enter personal data.

We screened the images as a courtesy for anyone who wasn't immediately in a position to view vulvas. There's nothing inappropriate about them.
