We must remove this thing. I don't care what your excuse is. You must vote in the way most likely to do it. And you know what that is. Failure is not an option. #VoteOUTtheGOP #RemoveTrump #RestoreTheWelfareState #Article1Section8 #ThePublicPurpose #ModernMonetaryTheory
Don't thank me for my service and then vote for a party who votes against me and my fellow vets. More over don't thank me for my service and then vote for a party who votes against the civil liberties (of all) that I served in order to protect. #CountryAboveParty #VoteOutTheGOP
You've been indicted for felonies you committed BEFORE, DURING and AFTER your term in office. You lied to your electorate about affairs, tried to overturn an election and stole documents. The only surprise is that the party for which you're the presumptive nominee has no reservations. #VoteOutTheGOP

Fascinating. This isn't how Congress is supposed to work.

“Burn The Whole Place Down”

I had hoped by today that I would be able to write about something other than the complete dysfunction and meltdown of the GOP-controlled House, but alas, the story continues to dominate the headlines and seems only to worsen because the ex-president has now weighed in and is

Sounds like Paxton would do well in the Senate with others who oversaw crimes - thinking of Rick Scott of Florida “During his tenure as chief executive, the company defrauded Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs. The Department of Justice won 14 felony convictions against the company, which was fined $1.7 billion in what was at the time the largest healthcare fraud settlement in U.S. history.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Scott #GOPClownShow #VoteOutTheGOP https://newsie.social/@Chron/111103874326997092
Rick Scott - Wikipedia

GOP congress critters like Tommy Tuberville are doing real damage to the country. That anybody supports this is insane.

"The policy is important because service members and their families have no control over where they are stationed. The demands of military service often require travel or a move to fulfill the military’s operational requirements. So, if you’re sent to Redstone Arsenal in Alabama and you suffer a miscarriage that requires treatment to prevent sepsis and preserve your ability to carry a future pregnancy to term, you’d be stuck in a dangerous position without the DoD policy. That’s what Senator Tuberville objects to so strongly that he’s damaging the military over it. If a service member is raped and becomes pregnant, Tuberville thinks she should be forced to have the rapist’s baby."

What's wrong with the GOP indeed. They can't claim to support the military or our national security and behave this way.

Tommy Tuberville: What's Wrong With the Republican Party

You can’t say you support the military, and then stand by while one man, one senator, prevents the military from having its senior leadership in place. But that’s where we are. As of today, there is no longer a Senate-confirmed Commandant of the Marine Corps. Top level military positions require Senate confirmation, and Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville is blocking it. This isn’t because he has an objection to the candidate. The nominee, General Eric Smith, is

The only thing that will make the killing stop is to finally vote the Rs out of office. And it will still be a slog because of the damage they have done to the courts. But every journey starts with a single step. #VoteOutTheGOP
