I don't think people in politics understand just how angry the general population is — and by angry, I mean insufferably pissed off.

Donald Trump is a pedophile who raped children and is friends with other pedophiles. He breaks the law so frequently that we've all lost track of how many times he has done it. Yet, for four years during Joe Biden's presidency, no one wanted to do anything to get rid of this jerk. When they finally took him to court, it was only a civil matter where, at worst, he'd have to pay a fine or perform community service. He didn't even get sentenced because they kept delaying everything until — whoops — he’s President again.

You want to tell me the parties are different? Get real. No one who has done any critical thinking truly believes we have two parties. It’s all the same bullshit.

We need to go left, and you want to tell me 'vote blue no matter who'? Fuck you. 'Who' is exactly what is important, because who is in office is what will make or break things.

If all you're doing is voting by party, you're voting wrong. If people are unwilling or unable to think and vote for individuals, we're screwed.

We need to vote progressively. Often that will mean voting Democrat, but not always. Who matters!

I am not saying, “Do not vote Democrat.” I am saying we need to do more than that.

“Vote blue no matter who” is how we got here — and here is where I would rather not be. Who we vote for always matters, and people voting blindly tend to forget that fact.

We need to vote progressively, or we won’t be able to save ourselves. Yes, that often means voting Democrat, but not all Democrats are progressives.

If we cannot vote smart, we’re going to lose this country. It’s as simple as that.
